These Official Rules govern the Sonic: The Hedgehog 35th Anniversary Memories And Beyond Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes"). SEGA will provide DPI with one (1) prize component: One (1) special "Sonic The Hedgehog: Memories and Beyond" art print. DPI will provide and fulfill all other prize components and will be solely responsible for administering the Sweepstakes and delivering all prizes to winners.
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Sponsor/Administrator: DPI Merchandising, LLC, 245 Industrial Drive, Roseburg, Oregon 97471 ("Sponsor" or "Administrator").
Promotional Partner: Sega of America, Inc., 140 Progress, Suite 100, Irvine, CA, 92618 ("Promotional Partner"). Promotional Partner is not the sponsor or administrator of the Sweepstakes.
Administrator is solely responsible for entry collection, winner selection, winner notification, prize fulfillment, and tax reporting, and compliance with applicable law.
Open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the date of entry.
Void in Puerto Rico, all United States territories and possessions, and void where prohibited or restricted by law.
Employees, officers, directors, and agents of Sponsor, Administrator, Promotional Partner, and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, public relations agencies, event production partners, and fulfillment partners, and the immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses) and household members of each, are not eligible to enter or win.
The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:00 a.m. Pacific Time ("PT") on 10/8/2026 and ends at 12:00:00 p.m. (noon) PT on 10/29/2026 (the "Entry Period"). Administrator's computer is the official time-keeping device for the Sweepstakes.
During the Entry Period, visit https://shop.sega.com/pages/sonic-the-hedgehog-35th-anniversary-memories-and-beyond-sweepstakes and complete the entry form, including a valid email address and confirmation that the entrant is eighteen (18) years of age or older and a legal resident of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia. Submission of the form constitutes one (1) entry.
Limit one (1) entry per person and per email address for the entire Entry Period. Entries received from any person or email address in excess of the stated limit will be void. Use of any automated system, bot, script, or other device to enter is prohibited and will result in disqualification.
On the entry form, you have the option to provide your consent to receive marketing communications from SEGA Shop, Administrator, and SEGA of America, as described in the applicable privacy policies. Entrants may unsubscribe at any time. An entrant's choice to provide such consent or an entrant's decision to unsubscribe after entry will not affect the entrant's chances of winning.
All entries become the property of Administrator and will not be acknowledged or returned. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted, or submitted outside the Entry Period are void. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt.
Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of Grand Prize: $1,484.94.
Each Secondary Prize consists of one (1) Sonic The Hedgehog: 35th Anniversary Run Crossbody Bag (ARV: $54.99) and one (1) Sonic The Hedgehog: 35th Anniversary Snapback Hat (ARV: $34.99).
ARV of each Secondary Prize: $89.98. Total ARV of all Secondary Prizes: $269.94.
Each Tertiary Prize consists of one (1) Sonic The Hedgehog: 35th Anniversary Mug (ARV: $24.99) and one (1) Sonic The Hedgehog: 35th Anniversary Journal (ARV: $17.99).
ARV of each Tertiary Prize: $42.98. Total ARV of all Tertiary Prizes: $214.90.
Total ARV of all prizes: $1,969.78
All prize details not expressly stated above are at Administrator's sole discretion.
No substitution, transfer, assignment, or cash equivalent of any prize is permitted, except by Administrator, which reserves the right to substitute a prize or prize component of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for any reason.
On or about 10/29/2026, Administrator will select nine (9) potential winners — one (1) Grand Prize, three (3) Secondary Prize, and five (5) Tertiary Prize — in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
Potential winners will be notified by email at the address submitted with their entry within three (3) business days of the drawing. Potential winners must respond to the notification within seventy-two (72) hours. Failure to respond within that period, an undeliverable notification, or non-compliance with these Official Rules will result in disqualification and, at Administrator's discretion, selection of an alternate winner.
All prizes will be fulfilled within approximately thirty (30) days of winner verification. Prizes will be shipped to addresses within the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia only; no P.O. boxes.
Administrator reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to discontinue selecting alternate winners after three (3) attempts, in which case the applicable prize may go unawarded.
All federal, state, and local taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of each winner. Winners receiving prizes with an aggregate value of $600 or more in a calendar year will be issued an IRS Form 1099-MISC by Administrator and must provide a valid Social Security number or taxpayer identification number in order to receive the prize. Failure to provide required tax documentation will result in forfeiture.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, by entering, each entrant releases and holds harmless SEGA of America, Inc., DPI Merchandising, LLC, and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, licensors, advertising and promotion agencies, public relations agencies, event production partners, and fulfillment partners, and each of their officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, "Released Parties") from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, injuries, or liability of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in the Sweepstakes, acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, or participation in any prize-related activity.
Released Parties are not responsible for: lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, garbled, or undeliverable entries or notifications; technical, hardware, software, network, telephone, or other failures of any kind; unauthorized human intervention; typographical or printing errors; or any injury or damage to any person's computer or device related to or resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes.
Administrator reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds, in its sole discretion, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes, acting in violation of these Official Rules, or acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned — including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond Administrator's reasonable control — Administrator reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes and to select winners from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to the action taken.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND ADMINISTRATOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor, Administrator, and Promotional Partner to use the winner's name, city and state of residence, likeness, and statements for advertising and promotional purposes in any and all media, worldwide, in perpetuity, without further compensation, notice, or approval.
Information collected from entrants will be processed in accordance with Administrator's Privacy Policy, available at https://shop.sega.com/pages/privacy-policy, and SEGA of America, Inc.'s Privacy Policy, available at https://privacy.sega.com/en/sega-of-america-inc-privacy-policy, for the purpose of administering the Sweepstakes, including but not limited to collecting entries, selecting winners, notifying and fulfilling prizes to winners, making the winners list available to any request submitted pursuant to these rules and in accordance with applicable law. Such information may include full name, date of birth, and email address. Winners may be prompted to share with Administrator additional information such as mailing address. For non-winning participants, personal information submitted as part of the Sweepstakes will be deleted within 90 days after the Sweepstakes ends. For personal information of winning participants, to comply with applicable law, Administrator will store such personal information for 180 days after the Sweepstakes ends, then will delete such information.
Except where prohibited, each entrant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prize shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; (b) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, excluding attorneys' fees; and (c) under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain any award for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages and any other damages other than actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.
All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant, Sponsor, Administrator, and Promotional Partner, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.
For the names of the winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: SEGA 35th Anniversary Sweepstakes Winners List, DPI Merchandising, LLC, 245 Industrial Drive, Roseburg, Oregon 97471, to be received by January 9, 2027.
This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms, Inc., Instagram, TikTok, X Corp., YouTube, Discord, Twitch, or any other social media platform. Entrants release each such platform from all liability in connection with this Sweepstakes. Nintendo is not a sponsor or administrator of, and is not affiliated with, this Sweepstakes.
